Joseph Gentile

Joseph Gentile graduated cum laude from Fordham University where he participated in the Business School's Honor Program. He received his J.D. degree from Boston College Law School, where he clerked for the Honorable Reginald C. Lindsay of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Mr. Gentile served as counsel in a shareholder derivative action that resulted in the replacement of a member of the board of directors and imposed new corporate governance measures that, among other things, changed the board's voting process. He also served as counsel to a class of retirees in which he helped recoup millions of dollars in additional retirement funds from a bankruptcy estate. Mr. Gentile has also served as a mentor and tutor to elementary school students in New Jersey.

Mr. Gentile is a member of the bar of New York and the Southern District of New York.
