The Firm

SARRAF GENTILE LLP was founded in 2004 and specializes in counseling whistleblowers, litigating class actions and representing individuals with immigration related issues nationwide. It is a low-volume high-priority litigation-focused firm, that deliberately limits the number of cases it accepts in order to give each client and case the utmost attention. The firm has helped recover billions of dollars.

Whistleblower.  The firm’s whistleblower practice focuses on complex financial and regulatory matters that arise under various federal and state laws, including the False Claims Act. These matters often involve fraud, misrepresentation, fiduciary misconduct, regulatory violations or contract disputes. They span multiple industries and certain highly-regulated areas, such as banking, healthcare, and tax compliance. The firm’s attorneys work closely with government regulators, attorneys and agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as well as numerous city and state governmental agencies.

Class Actions.  The firm advises individual and institutional clients on class-wide claims in state and federal courts nationwide, and its attorneys have been appointed by numerous judges to serve as lead counsel in many class actions and other complex commercial litigation. The firm has experience litigating in a broad array of industries including tech, life sciences, healthcare, insurance and financial services. RiskMetrics Group and Securities Class Action Services have recognized the firm as being among the top 50 law firms in the country.  In addition to obtaining monetary compensation, the firm has also obtained injunctive remedies, such as requiring public companies to take certain actions or stop certain conduct. The firm has also worked closely with many public companies to improve their corporate governance, reform the manner in which individuals serve as company directors, and modify the composition and operation of a company’s board of directors.

Immigration.  The firm uses its litigation skills and experience working with government lawyers to represent individuals who have immigration issues that may be resolved through litigation. Some of the immigration issues the firm handles include: obtaining decisions on long-delayed visa applications through the use of the Writ of Mandamus or the Administrative Procedures Act (APA); challenging the denial of immigration applications; addressing incomplete Freedom of Information Act requests; and, representing individuals with investment-related immigration issues.

The firm intentionally limits the number of cases it handles in order to ensure that clients receive maximum attention. We are committed to providing the highest quality representation – holding ourselves to the highest ethical and moral standards. Our client’s best interest always comes first.
